Footsteps pounding through the dark, coming closer, 
breathing hard, breathing fast, keep on going, 
going faster round the corner, home is nearer don't look 
back, coming closer padding softly running 
faster closer

knife flies falls slides glints stumbling falling 
swearing grabbing arms flailing feet kicking voices 
shouting screaming 

 RUN!
